Vaccine Requirement

Rabies | Distemper | Bordetella | Negative Fecal   

  • Boarding Requirements

    Vaccines required for Boarding: Bordetella (Kennel cough) 1 yr, Distemper (DHPP), Rabies, a negative fecal within the last year, and Flea and Tick Prevention. We also recommend Heartworm protection year-round.

  • Severely Shy, Aggressive or Difficult Dogs

    Unfortunately we will not be able accept dogs that can’t be handled by our staff. We will be using leashes to take them outside for bathroom breaks. If we can’t handle your dog we will not able to care for them properly.

  • Deposits

    A deposit of $50 is required for all reservations. Deposits are due at the time of the request (if accepted) for ALL reservations NO exceptions.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We require a 7-day notice when canceling your reservation in order to have paid deposits left as a credit on your account. Late cancellations will result in your deposit being forfeited. There are NO REFUNDS.

  • Feeding Requirements

    Please bring your pet’s food that they usually get fed at home in pre-portioned baggies or reusable containers. If you are bringing wet food please do not mix with dry before arrival. We will do that at each feeding. We require their usual food because switching your dog’s food while staying at the resort may cause stomach upset and/or diarrhea. Due to health concerns, we will not be accepting raw diets.


    If your pets can not be fed together in the same suite for reasons such as resource gaurding, agression, food allergies etc. they will need to lodge in separate suites.  They can be together for potty/play sessions, add on activities, last call potties etc.  This is required for the safety of your pets.  Thank you for understanding.

  • Medication

    All staff will be trained to give oral and topical medications. Upon arrival, the medication(s) will be put into a pillbox to eliminate the confusion of when the pills should be given.


    We  CAN NOT accept Diabetic Pets.


  • General Information

    When you arrive a staff member will check over your dogs for any signs of fleas. If any are found we will be administering medication at the owner’s expense. Please have your dog leashed upon arrival. You may bring small personal item(s) from home but please refrain from bringing any sentimental and expensive items since they may get destroyed. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

  • Emergency Situations

    In the case of an emergency, we will take your pet to Tuffs or your veterinarian if Pawsteps is not available. There will be a $30 per hour fee added to your bill for a staff member to stay with and/or transport your pet.  Owner is reponsible for all costs of extra veterinary care.  Please leave at least 2 emergency contact numbers when you drop off you pet.

  • Check in Policy

    Our daycare rush hour is between 7:00 am – 9:00 am. To be sure that our lodging guests are checked in properly and get the best possible service we start the check-ins at 9:00 am. Check-in between 7:00am & 9:00am is available for an extra $10.00 M-F.


    Check In Hours:

    Monday to Friday = 9:00am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm

    Saturday = 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm

    Sunday = 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm

  • Check Out Policy

    The Valley uses the same charging system as hotels. With check out time always being by 12PM NOON. If your pet stays later than our 12 noon check out time, you will be charged another daily rate. 


    Example:

    If you drop off your pet on Saturday at 10:00 am and pick him up on Sunday at 11:30 am, it is considered 1 day.

    If you drop off your pet on Saturday at 6:00 pm and pick him up on Sunday at 5:00 pm, it is considered 2 days.


    Check out Times:

    Monday to Friday = 9:00am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm


    Saturday = 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm


    Sunday = 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-6:00pm

  • Holiday Hours

    While we are here 365 days a year to take care of your pets, unlike other facilities, we have office hours almost every holiday as well for the exception of:


    Thanksgiving Day = Closed


    Christmas Eve = Closed 


    Christmas Day = Closed

    New Years Day: 10am-12pm, 5pm-6pm


    Memorial Day: 10am-12pm, 5pm-6pm
